I am looking for a new home for the old layers. They are FREE. They are good to be turned into soup and stews or jsut simply retired to a new home where they can pick at bugs in your garden and keep you company. I will be getting new layers at ready-to-lay age sometime in the spring. I will then switch thier diet to organic feed and let them free range in the back yard. Eggs will be available then. Also at that time in spring, asparagus will be starting to produce and you can order meat, eggs and asparagus all at the same time. What a meal!
